Subject of Jerry Labriola's presentation:

Mystery Writing, Forensic Science, and Crime

Murders - Murderers - Mysteries.  We hear about them every day in the news.  We read about them in books, and watch shows about them on live court television.  Whether it is the fictional characters from books and movies who frighten us to death, or the real-life murderers of the world, America is fascinated with the subject.

In conjunction with his book,  The Strange Death of Napoleon Bonaparte - a novel - Jerry Labriola, M.D. will lead the audience on a discussion of such topics as:

The evolution of a mystery writer
The burgeoning interest in forensic science
The behavioral dynamics of mass murderers, serial killers, spree killers, psychopaths and psychotics.
Famous crimes of the past century including Sacco-Vanzetti, Charles Lindbergh, Sam Sheppard, John F. Kennedy, O.J. Simpson, JonBenet Ramsey, Scott Peterson, Elizabeth Smart.
How criminal acts and crime rates reflect the socioeconomic and political characteristics of the times - from 1900 to 2007.
What the future holds.
